Here is a quick tip.
If your newly installed Ubuntu 19.04 refuses to boot after installation, a conflict with the nvidia graphics driver could be the reason. To make Ubuntu boot properly again with Nvidia, you have to disable the Wayland service.
In that case reboot Ubuntu into recovery mode. Choose root prompt from the recovery menu. (Confirm with Enter-Key).
Open GDM config file with Nano:
Search for the
#WaylandEnable=false and remove the ‘#’ in the beginning of the line to un-comment it. Save with CTRL+X and confirm with ‘Yes’.
Reboot your system.
